Interview with Jesper Volk from Volk Education

Jesper Volk works as a Consultant for Volk Education, working with employee and leadership development. Jesper is certified in Extended DISC®, and also utilises Extended DISC® as well as Real Time Measure "RTM" Feedback Version and Exit Poll Version as a reseller for HR Solutions.

The interview with Jesper will have a different angle on the use of the solutions, as it's not just feedback from one specific customer, but feedback from several customers who buy the solutions.

Volk Education uses HR Solutions' solutions: RTM Exit Poll Version and Feedback Version and Extended DISC®. The reason for using the solutions is that there is a demand for them from Volk Education's customers. Jesper explains that the solutions are simple and structured systems, but in the beginning they experienced start-up problems. These problems were due to the fact that they got bigger customers and thus other challenges. Jesper doesn't really encounter start-up problems anymore and believes that RTM Exit Poll Version and Feedback Version and Extended DISC® are good and easy solutions that can also be used as sources of inspiration. Start-up problems can easily be avoided by informing respondents about an upcoming survey, e.g. in the form of an information letter, thus introducing them to what is going to happen. However, it's important when launching surveys that you also follow up on them: "If you don't follow up on the results of surveys, it can mean a lower level and the desired goal will not be achieved," Jesper explains. The solutions can therefore help you achieve the goals you have set for your organisation and make improvements. Customers have benefited from the solutions, and they can be used as a management tool.

According to Jesper, there are certain development areas you can work on improving, such as communication between employees and management, stress levels and development opportunities, collaboration and how far you are in a process such as a new business strategy. According to customers using the Extended DISC® and RTM Feedback Version and Exit Poll Version solutions, the best thing about the solutions is that they are simple and visual, and the benefits are that you get the answers you need. Jesper can therefore recommend the solutions as they are good tools that are not too expensive.
