Virtual certification in Extended DISC® Basic
Virtual certification in Extended DISC Basic is for those who want to become certified in Extended DISC Basic - a useful HR tool that provides an increased understanding of other people and better use of resources in the organisation.
When you choose virtual certification, it offers you and your organisation the following benefits:

✓ Flexibility in terms of which sessions you can attend, but you are only certified when you have completed all 5 sessions.
The purpose is to strengthen your own and your organisation's HR competencies through the interpretation of person analysis, behavioural traits from the individual behavioural styles and how to communicate most effectively to them. The Extended DISC Profile is used for many different purposes, more about these areas further down the page.
Extended DISC personal analysis is a tool for developing your organisation's well-being and motivation through greater insight into your own and your employees' behaviour. The tool can also be used in the recruitment process to select the right employee and minimise the chance of hiring the wrong person.
The certification process
The certification is done virtually, which means that you do not complete exactly the same as in a normal certification. The certification is adapted to be completed online with the advantages and limitations of the virtual ones.
Throughout the certification, you will be given assignments individually, in groups and complete a wide range of interpretations, feedback on profiles.
On the certification days, there is a strong focus on making everyone feel welcome and ready to contribute with relevant experiences and in-depth questions. That's why our teams are also limited to a maximum of 8 people to maintain the presence and contact so that everyone gets the chance to be heard.
Extended DISC Basic persona analysis is used by managers, internal HR staff and external consultants alike, and our flexible report options make it possible to pull exactly the report that suits your needs.
Step 1: E-learning course
The e-learning course consists of 3 modules + 1 test. The modules are divided into lessons with exercises in between. The final test must be passed before the certification days. The e-learning course can be completed at your own pace, so you can log in and out as many times as you like.
Step 2: Person analysis
Before the certification days, you will need to complete a persona analysis yourself and three "rabbits". The analyses will be used practically in a number of different contexts - including recruitment, feedback and development.
Step 3: Virtual certification days
There will be 5 virtual online sessions of 2 hours each including breaks.

Due to the circumstances in Denmark in general, my certification course in Extended DISC was conducted as an online course.
I have only positive things to say about this programme and the way it was run. Prior to the training, I received clear guidance on how to use the HR Solutions platform and a clear structure for the training days.
So it was easy for me to "get on" and even if it wasn't with a physical hand outstretched at the door, the teacher (Kurt) was ready to greet me right away.

Kurt made good use of the platform's technical possibilities and I experienced a rewarding interaction between dialogue, presentations and even chatting throughout the course.
