The certification process

How the certification works

This was added earlier by Morten – not sure if we should keep it this way – this is certification from an online perspective! – as opposed to physical certification, which we will describe on the certification subpage itself.

The certification process consists of three steps – e-learning, team formation and the certification day

Step 1: E-learningskursus

The e-learning course consists of 5 lessons plus 1 test, with exercises interspersed throughout. The final test must be passed before the certification days. The e-learning course can be completed at your own pace, so you can log in and out as often as you like.

Step 2: Team composition

Before the certification days, you must also have found a team to work with. Each member of the team must complete a personal analysis so that a team report can be drawn up.

Step 3: Certification Day

On the day of the certification, we’ll be working hands-on with your team. The outcome could, for example, be a plan for how you can work with the team going forward. The certification also comprises a combination of theory, games, exercises and practical case studies.

The theory of the four behavioural styles

A powerful tool for analysing team composition

The Team Analysis is an analytical tool on the FinxS platform and is based on Extended DISC® Behavioural Profiling. The method is based on behavioural theories that have been in use for more than 80 years and are rooted in Dr Carl Gustav Jung’s psychological theories. Extended DISC stands for the four main behavioural styles: Dominance, Influence, Stability and Control, which provide insight into how people typically think, communicate and collaborate.

The team analysis report provides a visual and clear overview of the team’s composition. Among other things, it includes a scatter plot that anonymously shows team members’ natural behavioural positions within the Extended DISC® diamond, as well as a name map that displays the same positions alongside their names. In addition, the report includes an arrow chart that illustrates both team members’ natural and adapted behaviours in an easy-to-understand way. The report also shows percentage distributions from each team member’s Extended DISC® personality analysis, as well as the team’s overall profile – including how the team typically reacts under pressure.

Tuckman and Jensen’s team development & Lencioni’s theory
