Situational Leadership® Train the trainer

Situational Leadership is the most widely recognized leadership training – with more than 11 million people having completed the programme. And now you can become a certified trainer in Situational Leadership yourself. Over 3 days, you will develop your managerial skills, learn about the different approaches to various target groups and accuire an effective tool in connection with employee training and development.
The programme is for those who want to be able to train and educate others in one of the most widely recognized management tools worldwide.
The programme gives you the tools to pass on theory and practical knowledge to other instructors, managers and coaches. In the 1960s, Dr. Paul Hersey developed this widely recognized model, which aims to increase productivity through adapting communication about and support for different tasks to different people.

Situational Leadership equips managers with the tools they need to effectively target and analyze guidance and support required in a given situation.

Keeping an eye on this is absolutely essential the daily life of a manager in order to make other people perform and feel familiar in a given situation.

The demand for skilled and effective leaders at all levels of the organization is only increasing. Situational Leadership suits managers better in relation to fulfilling their leadership position.

The trainer COURSE

The course includes short theoretical presentations and many practical exercises interspersed with both video clips and games. The course will give you a more in-depth understanding of angling towards the different target groups. You will be trained in how to use video material in teaching situations, as well as to develop your own management skills.

There will also be a strong focus on feedback on own performance throughout the training course. Throughout you will have access to instructor manuals, materials and exercises, which can obviously be used after the course.

Step 1 – The course

You participate in an open two-day course or complete the first part online, where you review different target groups and presentation methods, as well as coaching material.

Step 2 – Train the trainer

You participate in a certification course, which is organized by Situational Leadership ® in Denmark in collaboration with Situational Services Nordic AB.

Step 3

A Master Coach in Situational Leadership will be present to observe and approve the certification. The coach will be there on day 1, 2 or 3.

After the certification

To ensure that the coach remains to teach others in Situational Leadership®,  the coach is required to complete a minimum of two two-day training sessions a year during the licence period, to maintain the routine.

Re-certification

The coaching licence is valid for two years, after which it must be renewed. Always in agreement  with the company.
These requirements are designed to ensure a consistently high level for all Situational Leadership® coaches, so that the quality of their instruction achieves the desired level and is in line with the Situational Leadership standards.
